Throughout the lockdown, brought about by COVID-19, not only have we had a tremendous reception on our virtual classes from our awesome students, but also had the privilege of some of our international Genbu-Kai brothers and sisters join in with the classes in our virtual dojo.
All we can say is a huge thank you to all of those students that attended the virtual classes, your support it is much appreciated. It has not been easy and has been a steep learning curve for everybody.
But finally, after nearly 5 months of virtual classes, it is with great pleasure that we can finally announce the return to the dojo in Copley. This will be done in two phases.
1) Cadets (7+) and adults - 17th August 2020
2) Lil Dragons - Date TBC
There will be strict guidelines in place to ensure that we meet, not only our own, but also the guidelines required by Copley Sports Centre so there will be some changes to the regular routine of joining a class.
First of all please make sure you have access to our Coacha system. You can access this using the Members Area link on the website. If you do not have access or you have forgotten your password, do not worry, just get in touch with us and we can get you back online in no time.
In order to attend a class you must book on to the class using the Coacha website or app (which is why it so important to make sure you have access). Spaces will be limited due to social distancing measure being put in place. We will still be providing a link to the virtual classes but in what shape or form we are still trying to work out.
Up to 24 hours before the class you are attending (and no sooner) you must complete an attendance questionnaire and please be honest as it's not only yourselves you may be putting at risk. If you are unwell, do not attend class and stay safe. The link to the questionnaire will be available on the Coacha noticeboard.
If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Stay safe, stay strong, better together (socially distanced of course).
